Wichita Rebranding to the Wind!

Following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, we will be going back to the hockey roots in Wichita and re-branding back as the Wichita Wind. We, as a whole, feel that this is a great opportunity to highlight the full history of minor-league hockey from day one in Wichita, dating back to 1980! We do appreciate the support that’s been given to the Thunder for the past 32 seasons, and hope that the support continues as we navigate this rebrand.
