Joel T. Lomurno
A native of Moorestown, New Jersey, Lomurno graduated from La Salle University in Philadelphia in 1992. He started with the Thunder in 1993 as an intern and is entering his 33rd season with the team.
Following the internship, he has worked in almost every department within the organization. Lomurno moved into ticket sales in 1994 and eventually became the director of public relations and play-by-play announcer through 2004, when he was promoted to assistant general manager. During that time, he even dressed for two games as emergency goal-tender. Lomurno became general manager of the Thunder in 2008, and was charged with running both the Thunder and the expansion Wichita Wingnuts of the American Association of Professional Baseball, until the Wingnuts were sold to a local ownership group in 2010.
Lomurno was twice named Central Hockey League Public Relations Executive of the Year (2000 and 2006), was a finalist for the CHL Executive of the Year Award in both 2013 and 2014 and was named ECHL Executive of the Year in 2022. Lomurno was elected to the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame in 2022. Joel and his wife, Miranda, have two daughters - Cincy and Charlotte.

Drew Hanson
Hanson hails from Whiting, Iowa. He was named as a finalist for ECHL Rookie of the year in 2021-22 and is a graduate of ECHL Ticket Sales Management University.
Hanson came to the Thunder from Soiux City, Iowa where he was on staff at RallyPoint Church. Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Hanson attended Ozark Christian College where he got his bachelor's in Christian Ministry.

Jason Mals
Jason Mals joined the Thunder in 2004 as a sales associate and the radio announcer of the team. A native of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Mals attended Penn State University from 1999-02 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Kinesiology and Sociology.
After graduating from school, he was named as the Voice of the North American Hockey League’s Billings Bulls in 2003.
Mals also worked for Steckline Communications for four years, hosting the afternoon drive talk show, The Press Box, as well as being the station’s high school basketball voice. He also served as the voice of the Newman Jets before returning to the Thunder in 2011.
Currently, he handles the team’s public and media relations, sales and voice of the Thunder. He has earned several league honors, including the 2012-13 CHL Communications Director of the Year, 2013-14 CHL Spirit Award and finalist for the 2018-19 ECHL PR Director of the Year. He has been nominated five times for the Joe Babik ECHL PR/Media Relations Director of the Year Award including this past season.
Mals has a 17-year-old daughter who he loves to spend time with away from the arena. He enjoys golf, football, his dog Addison and The Big Bang Theory.

Parker Brueck
Parker joins the Thunder as an Account Executive focusing on Season Ticket Memberships. He recently graduating from the University of Iowa. A native of Urbandale, Iowa, Brueck graduated with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management with a concentration in PR/Communications. He also also earned an Event Management Certificate. Brueck has been involved in sports his whole life, having worked with the University of Iowa football team. He spent time in San Diego with numerous organizations such as the San Diego Wave FC, the USWNT, The Farmers Insurance Open, etc. as he helped consulting for potential corporate sponsorships.

Alex Gallegos
Alex also joins the Thunder as an Account Executive focusing on Group Sales after beginning out as an intern. A native of Forgan, Oklahoma, Gallegos is attending Wichita State University with a focus in Sports Management. She is following her passion for sports, having played basketball all throughout high school.
