2025-26 INTERN PROGRAM

The Wichita Thunder is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working individuals for the team's 2025-26 Intern Program. Interns will work all Thunder home games and select events as required.

Please fill out the form below if you are interested in being an intern for the 2025-26 season, which begins in October.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS INCLUDE:

Fan Relations – Assist in the management of the Fan Relations Booth at the arena on game nights to include assisting fans with any questions they may have, directing fans throughout the arena, radioing other departments with any needs that may arise, selling Chuck-a-Pucks, radioing in prize winners for promotions

Promotions – Assist in preparations and tear down, coordination with promo and dance team and assisting with intermission contests and performances

Videographer – Assists in capturing video and editing to use for social media and other needs.

Game Day Relations – Booth registrations, escorting patrons to designated locations, assisting with group photos and managing on-ice photos.

Game Operations – Assist Game Operations Director and observe tasks and functions of the role. Assist in writing game day scripts.

Merchandise – Help operate the point of sale iPad and credit card machine, accurately handle cash drawer, stock merchandise items, and answer customers' questions.

Content Creation - Assist capturing photos, videos and editing for use on social media and other needs.

There are only 21 available intern spots for the 2025-26 season. Please note this is an unpaid internship.
