Junior Thunder Celebrates Thorne Cup Tomorrow Night

Wichita, KS (April 17th) - The Wichita Junior Thunder will be celebrating their Thorne Cup Title tomorrow night starting at 7 p.m. at the Wichita Ice Center.

Fans are welcome to come and congratulate the team. There will be a jersey auction along with their Midwest Division Championship banner on display.

The Junior Thunder swept their way through the postseason en route to their first-ever Thorne Cup. In their fifth anniversary season, the team defeated the Idaho Junior Steelheads in the championship game on Sunday afternoon.

Led by former Thunder greats Rob Weingartner, Kevin St. Pierre and Sean O'Reilly, the team hopes to see you out tomorrow night.
