WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder lost 8-1 to the Colorado Eagles on Wednesday night at the INTRUST Bank Arena.Trailing 1-0 in the first, Joel Hanson extended his point streak to six games, scoring a power play goal at 14:47 on a backdoor pass from Jason Reese that originated from the left corner of the Eagles' zone. The assist extended Reese's point streak to four games. Colorado regained the lead at 16:06 on a fadeaway shot to the long side of the net by Ryan McLeod.McLeod's goal sparked a run of seven unanswered goals for Colorado, five of which came in the second period. The Eagles scored three times in the span of 32 seconds midway through the second. McLeod and Lutes each finished the night with two goals.Scott Campbell took the loss, saving 25 of 30 before being relieved by Ian Keserich in the second who went 17 of 20.
