Thunder Cut Roster by Three; Deal Bernhardt to Elmira

Wichita, KS (Oct. 12th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon that they have trimmed the roster by three, releasing forwards Matt Harrington, Bryon Paulazzo and defenseman Luc Kilgore from their tryout agreements. The team also announced that forward Justin Bernhardt has been sent to the Elmira Jackals. The roster now stands at 13 forwards, eight defensemen and two goalies. Final rosters are due later this week with Opening Weekend just around the corner.

Bernhardt heads to Elmira after playing last season in 28 games for the Thunder. His rights were sent to the Jackals to complete a previous trade earlier this summer for Ryan Rashid. Wichita sent Rashid to Greenville for future considerations.
