Wichita is 1-1-0-0 vs. Tulsa

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the third meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Oilers. All-time, Wichita is 135-116-27 against Tulsa and 60-63-13 at home in the series.

TODAY - Wichita travels to Tulsa for the first time this season to take on the Oilers in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series. The Thunder knocked off the Oilers last night by the final of 5-3. Alexis Loiseau and Mitch Holmberg each recorded three points (2g, 1a) while Adam Pleskach led the way for Tulsa with a pair of goals. This is just the third road game of the season for the Thunder while Tulsa is a perfect 8-0-0-0 at home. After tonight, the two teams will not see each other again until Thanksgiving Eve at INTRUST Bank Arena. Adam Pleskach (8g, 3a) and Emerson Clark (5g, 6a) lead the way for the Oilers with 11 points. Alexis Loiseau leads the Thunder with 11 points (5g, 6a).

THREE POINTER - Alexis Loiseau and Mitch Holmberg each recorded two goals and an assist last night to help pace the Thunder offense. Both set new season-highs not only for themselves, but for the team as well. Loiseau is riding a five-game point streak (5g, 5a) and is tied for the team-lead in goals. Holmberg has four points in his last three games.

FIRSTS - Nick Trecapelli caught a beautiful pass in the slot last night and buried a wrist shot for his first goal of the season. He also had an assist, finishing the game with two points. It was his second professional goal of his career and first points of the season.

CENTURY MARK - Landon Oslanski hit a milestone this past Saturday. He recorded his 100 point as a professional with an assist. The Camrose, Alberta native has 31 goals and 70 assists in his career.

FINISHING STRONG - Wichita has been a strong third-period team to this point in the season. Wichita is outscoring its opponents 15-4 and outshooting them 73-66.

WELCOME BACK - Scott Greenham earned his third win of the season last night, stopping 38 of 41 shots he faced. After dropping his first start of the year to Tulsa on Opening Night, he has won three straight. Greenham was reassigned to Wichita from the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators on Thursday.

Vincent Arseneau and Matt DeBlouw are tied for second in shorthanded goals (1)...Chris Rumble is tied for 12th in plus/minus (+7)...Drew Owsley is fifth in rookie goals-against average (2.63) and third in save percentage (.927)...Wichita is 3-0-0-0 when leading after two...Wichita is 2-2-0-0 when trailing after two...

TULSA NOTES - Tulsa is a perfect 8-0-0-0 at home, but 2-3-0-0 on the road...Dan DeSalvo and Kale Kessey were called up to Manitoba...Former Thunder dman Brandon Martell and forward Danick Gauthier played against their former team last night...Tulsa is 7-3-0-0 in their last 10...Tulsa is third in the league with 206 penalty minutes...
