Wichita is 1-0-0-0 vs. Evansville

HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the second meeting of the season between Wichita and Evansville. All-time, the Thunder are 5-4-0-0 versus the IceMen, 1-3-0-0 at INTRUST Bank Arena.

TODAY - The Evansville IceMen make their first trip to the Air Capital tonight to take on the Thunder. The two teams played earlier this month at the Ford Center with Wichita claiming a 3-2 shootout win. The Thunder are looking to snap a nine-game winless streak while Evansville is coming off an overtime loss last night in Missouri. The two teams are separated by nine points in the Western Conference and will play one more time later this year.

CLOSE CALLS - Wichita has played nine of its last 16 games past regulation. The Thunder are 3-4 in shootout situations and 1-4 with games being decided in the overtime period. Wichita is 7-7-4-4 in one-goal games this season.

BASH BRO - Kale Kerbashian has made an impact since coming over from Rapid City. In just nine games with the Thunder, Kerbashian has nine points (3g, 6a), including two assists this past weekend against his old team. He has 19 points in 26 games this year. Tonight, he plays against another former team of his. Kerbashian played 37 games for the IceMen last season, tallying 28 points (9g, 19a).

OZZY - Landon Oslanski has been a solid pick-up since being acquired in a trade with Alaska. In his past 10 games, he has scored eight points (5g, 3a). The Camrose, Alberta native is in a fifth-place tie with eight power play goals, which also leads all defensemen in that category. Through 41 games, he has 20 points (9g, 11a) on the season.

700 - Head Coach Kevin McClelland is nearing a milestone, sitting just three games back of coaching in his 700th pro game of his career. The former Stanley Cup Champion is the Thunder's all-time winningest coach, going 185-149-43.

END OF THE MONTH - Tonight is the final home game of the month of January for Wichita. After tonight, the Thunder will close the month with a pair of road games this weekend at Missouri. Wichita is currently 2-5-3-1 during the month.
