Wichita is 1-1-1-2 this season vs. Tulsa. All-time, Wichita is 130-104-21 and 73-45-10 at home against the Oilers. TO THE WIRE - Through the first five match-ups between the two teams, three have gone past regulation, including two shootouts. Of the five games, four have been decided by one goal, and the other was a 2-0 Thunder shutout on October 29th.

HIGH CALIBER - Wichita has outshot the Oilers in three of the five match-ups, including a 49-22 SOG advantage at INTRUST Bank Arena on November 18th. The Thunder average 30.71 shots per game, while only giving up 24.82. Through the five games, Wichita has 152 shots on net to Tulsa's 128.

SCORING EDGE - Tulsa holds a 16-14 edge in goals scored in the series and has been led by veteran center Jon Booras who has tallied two goals and two assists in five games against Wichita. Ian Lowe leads the Thunder with four points against the Oilers.

GONE STREAKING - Wichita currently has eight players on scoring streaks, including six players with a streak of three or more games. Erick Lizon leads the pack with a four game point-streak (3g, 1a), while Nikita Kashirsky, Ian Lowe, Jared Walker, RG Flath, and Danick Gauthier all have three game streaks. Ian Duval and Kenton Miller both tack on two games scoring streaks as well.

600 - Head Coach Kevin McClelland reached a milestone Friday night, coaching in his 600th game as a professional head coach. The Thunder jumped out to a 3-0 lead and earned a 4-1 win. Mac started back in 2005-06 with the Memphis RiverKings. He is in his fifth season behind the Thunder bench, going 152-100-29 over that span.

BIRTHDAY BOY - Erick Lizon recorded his fourth goal of the season last night to help the Thunder pull out a 3-1 win over the Allen Americans. Celebrating his 29th birthday, Lizon has scored a goal in each of the last three games and has two-game winners this week. His career high came back during the 2008-09 season when he was a member of the Laredo Bucks, scoring seven goals that season and 16 points.

THREE'S COMPANY - Wichita earned its third win this week and has a season-high winning streak going after last night's victory. The Thunder also ended the American's win-streak at eight games and earned their first points against Allen this season.

FIRST STAR - Tyler Bunz was outstanding last night, stopping 33 of 34 shots and claiming his second win of the week. He currently ranks third in goals against average (1.87) in the ECHL and improved his save percentage to .920, which is good for 10th in the league.

SO LONG NOVEMBER - Regardless of the outcome tonight in Wichita, the Oilers have assured themselves of a winning record in the month of November. Tulsa went 2-1-1 in October and has recorded back-to-back months of winning hockey for the first time since November and December of 2011. Wichita will finish the month above .500 as well, going 7-5-0-2 into today's contest.
