WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 16) – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today that forward Lucas Vanroboys has been recalled by the Barracuda.
Vanroboys, 24, was loaned back to Wichita on December 6. The 24-year-old center from Thamesville, Ontario has 10 points (4g, 6a) in 17 games so far this season with the Thunder.
He appeared in 69 games last year in San Jose, collecting 16 points (11g, 5a) to go along with 151 penalty minutes.
The Thunder heads on the road to close out the pre-Christmas schedule with a three-game series in Nevada against Tahoe beginning Wednesday.
