Wichita is 2-8-0-1 vs. Tulsa

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the 12th meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Oilers. All-time, Wichita is 136-123-28 against Tulsa and 60-67-14 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita begins a three-in-three tonight with a trip to Tulsa to take on the Oilers in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series. Both teams are looking to break long winless streaks. Wichita is winless over its last seven games while the Oilers are winless in their last eight. The Thunder lost on Tuesday night to Quad City 4-1. Tulsa is coming off a loss to Allen last weekend by the final score of 4-3. Christophe Lalancette leads the Oilers with 10 points (2g, 8a) in nine games against the Thunder. Shawn Bates and Adam Pleskach each have nine points (5g, 4a) in the season-series against Wichita. Louick Marcotte (2g, 4a) and Matt DeBlouw (1g, 5a) have six points against Tulsa this season.

SHOOTING GALLERY - Wichita has had plenty of scoring chances over the last 13 games. The Thunder have fired 30 or more shots over that span and have reached 40 shots in four of the last seven games.

WORKING OT - The Thunder played back-to-back overtime games last weekend and came out on the losing end in both contests. Wichita and Missouri have played four-straight games at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena past regulation with the Mavericks taking three of the four in overtime. Wichita is 3-5 in games decided in the extra period and have appeared in 10 games past regulation.

CAREER HIGH - Louick Marcotte recorded his 15th goal of the season last Saturday night. He needs one more to equal his totals from last season, his rookie year, in Adirondack where he collected 16 goals. He has already set a new career high in assists (19) and points (34).

DOORNY - Jamie Doornbosch returned from Binghamton on March 7th and picked up where he left off when he was called up to the Senators. He has 10 points (2g, 8a) in his last 10 games.

FIRST TIMER - Jeremy Beaudry recorded his first professional goal on Sunday afternoon. He buried a one-timer from the deep slot on the power play that tied the game at one against Quad City. The rookie defenseman from Montmagny, Quebec joined the team on March 14th after playing three seasons at the University of Quebec-Trois-Rivieres.

TULSA NOTES - Darcy Murphy has points in four of his last five games (1g, 3a)...Danick Paquette has five goals and four fights in his last eight games...P.J. Musico has started seven consecutive games for the Oilers, the second longest streak of the season behind Colin Stevens (12)...
