Thunder Becomes #HesstonStrong on March 26th

Wichita, KS (March 9th) - The Wichita Thunder, proud member of the ECHL and powered by Toyota, have extended an invitation to the workers at Excel Industries to come out to the game on Saturday, March 26th when the Thunder hosts the Quad City Mallards.

“As a member of the community, the Wichita Thunder were deeply touched by the events that occurred in Hesston,” commented VP of Ticket Sales Michael McCoy. “As our way to support the community and those effected within Excel Industries, we have donated 1,500 tickets to Excel to help with the healing process. We know this process will go on but wanted to show our support in any way we could.”

Employees from Excel Industries will be honored before the game with a special ceremonial puck drop. The Thunder twitter feed will remain #HesstonStrong for the rest of the season.

The Thunder travels to Allen on Saturday for the final two games of the season-series against the Americans.

Individual tickets for all games are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased at the INTRUST Arena Box office, by calling 855-755-SEAT or go online at www.selectaseat.com.
