WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 21) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, announced today the signing of defenseman Zachary Borsoi.

Borsoi, 25, began the year with the Adirondack Thunder before splitting time in the Southern Professional Hockey League with the Peoria Riverman and Evansville Thunderbolts.

Prior to turning pro, the 6-foot-4, 216-pound blueliner of out of Montreal, Quebec, played four seasons at Utica College (NCAA DIII). He had 63 points (18g, 45a) in 110 games for the Pioneers. His most productive season came during his senior season when he registered 26 points (9g, 17a) in 29 games. In 2017-18, he won a UCHC Title and was named to the NCAA DIII UCHC Second Team All-Conference in 2018-19.
