Police Takes on Air Force to Support Officer Arterburn

Wichita, KS (April 7th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, play their final game of the regular season this Sunday and will also be hosting the Police vs. Air Force at 2 p.m. at INTRUST Bank Arena.

The Air Force knocked off the United States Marines earlier this year while the Police claimed a victory over the Wichita Fire Department. Doors open at 1:45 with the opening face-off starting at 2 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales using AIR123 or POLICE128 will help benefit Officer Brian Arterburn, who was ran over by a stolen and fleeing SUV on February 7th.

Fans that buy tickets using that code will also get into the Thunder game later that day as the Allen Americans come to town for the final game of the regular season.

Sunday is Fandemonium, presented by Wichita Technical Institute. Throughout the game, fans have a chance to win free prizes, courtesy of our great partners.

Sunday is also the annual Thunder team award ceremony, which will take place before the game starts. We will reveal the winners for Community Relations Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Unsung Hero, Defenseman of the Year, Lewis Street Company Glass Rattler of the Year, Fan of the Year and Fans Choice Award.

The Thunder makes their final trip of the regular season to Tulsa tomorrow to take on the Oilers in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series.
