HEAD TO HEAD - This is the first meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Rush. All-time, Wichita is 20-33-6 against Rapid City and 12-18-2 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita continues its three-game road trip tonight with a visit to the Black Hills to take on Rapid City. The Rush have played three-straight games past regulation and are coming off a 2-1 loss to Colorado last weekend. In their three-game series against the Eagles, Rapid City lost in overtime 3-2 to Colorado on November 23rd, won 4-3 in a shootout on November 25th and then the one-goal loss last Saturday. The Thunder are coming off a 2-1 loss in a shootout to the Tulsa Oilers last Saturday. Lindsay Sparks leads the Rush with 24 points (10g, 14a) while Ryan Walters is second with 23 (5g, 18a). Alexis Loiseau leads the Thunder with 21 points (13g, 8a) and Nathan Moon has 13 (5g, 8a).

STREAKING - Alexis Loiseau has been the Thunder's most consistent scorer through the first 15 games. He added three goals last week, recording one in each contest against Tulsa. He has five goals in his last four games and is tied for second with 13. The second-year forward needs one more to equal his career-high, tallying 14 goals last season in Norfolk.

MOONLIGHTING - Nathan Moon is preparing to face his old team this weekend. The Thunder acquired him in a trade with Rapid City for forward Triston Grant. In six games with the Thunder, he has recorded five points (3g, 2a) and is second on the team with 13.

NEW FACE - Wichita traded for Daultan Leveille on Thanksgiving and he is expected to make his Thunder debut tonight. The former first round draft pick out of St. Catharines, Ontario led Elmira in scoring through 12 games, recording eight points (3g, 5a). He rejoins Vincent Dunn, Nathan Moon, Nick Trecapelli and Scott Greenham, who all played together in Evansville last season.

SPECIAL - Wichita's special teams have been a strength to this point in the season. The Thunder ranks first on the power play, operating at 25.6% and second on the penalty kill at 90.9%. Wichita killed off the first 22 power plays in the season-series that Tulsa had before giving up a goal in the third period on Saturday night. Rapid City comes in with the number ranked penalty kill, only allowing four goals on 50 chances (92%).

RAPID CITY NOTES - Lindsay Sparks is fifth in the league in scoring (24) and tied for sixth in goals scored (10)...Ryan Walters is fourth in the league in assists (18)...Brendan Walker and Lindsay Sparks are tied for fifth in power play goals (3)...Adam Morrison is tied for first in goals-against average (1.80) and first in save percentage (.950)...

AROUND THE ECHL - There is 11 other games today in the ECHL. Colorado heads to Adirondack. South Carolina goes to Greenville. Florida visits Orlando. Kalamazoo is at Elmira. Quad City flies to Brampton. Reading is in Norfolk. Cincinnati takes on Indy. Wheeling hosts Utah. Missouri goes to Fort Wayne. Tulsa heads to Allen. Alaska visits Idaho.
