ECHL.TV Announces March 6th as Free Live Stream Day

Princeton, NJ (Feb. 23rd) - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that for the first time ever, the ECHL.TV broadcast of all of its games scheduled for Sunday, March 6, 2016, will be available via global live stream free of charge, and not available on any television networks.

Although the ECHL typically does not broadcast on television networks, the League was a pioneer in live streaming and has made its games available on the internet for over a decade. Another very well known league recently provided a successful live stream of a game to millions of viewers - if a free football game can reach millions, then a dozen free hockey games should have quite the impact!
