WICHITA, Kan. (Sept. 8) – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today a schedule change that affects a home game during the 2026-27 season.
The Thunder will host the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, February 12 instead of Sunday, February 14. This will allow fans to not only enjoy their Sunday, Valentine's Day, but also the Super Bowl.
Love On Ice will remain the night's primary theme with couples being able to renew their vows after the game on the ice during a mass wedding. Couples can also take part in our Suiteheart Date Night promotion with information coming at a later date.
