WICHITA, Kan. (August 21) – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today the signing of forward Pavel Mckenzie for the 2026-27 season.
"We're happy to add Pavel to our roster the coming season," stated Head Coach Travis Clayton. "He brings a proven winning pedigree and a high level of competitiveness to our group. His junior coach, Mark O'Leary, called him one of the smartest hockey players that Moose Jaw has had in the last few years. He was named as the team's rookie of the year in 2023-24.
