ON THE ROAD AGAIN – Wichita began a franchise record 12-game road trip this past week. The Thunder lost on Wednesday night at Iowa, 6-3. Wichita followed that up with a 4-3 loss on Friday to Kansas City and an overtime loss at Cable Dahmer Arena on Saturday night, 1-0. Entering the week, the Thunder are in fifth place with 50 points, seven back of Tahoe. Wichita has three games in hand on the Knight Monsters and has played the same number of games as Rapid City.

MOVIN' ON UP – Michal Stinil moved alone into sixth place in goals scored in team history on Wednesday with 115. He had his four-game point streak snapped on Saturday, giving him six (4g, 2a) in his last five games.

400 – Jay Dickman played in his 400th Thunder game on Friday. He is just the third player in team history to reach that mark. Dickman needs two points to give him 40 in each of the last six years.

BATES MOTEL – Peter Bates had a seven-game point streak snapped on Saturday. He tallied (3g, 6a) over that span. The Thunder captain is eight goals shy from 100 in his ECHL career.

SEVENTH HEAVEN – Matt Crasa was picked up off waivers from Norfolk and has been a great addition. He has 10 points (7g, 3a) in 24 games for Wichita. He had points in three-straight outings before Saturday.

FIRSTS – Christophe Fillion scored his first goal in a Wichita uniform on Wednesday at Iowa. The Sherbrooke, Quebec native had two goals in 12 games this year with Utah.

PIONEER – Matt Davis was the best player on the ice on Saturday. He stopped 42 shots in an overtime loss at Kansas City. Davis has seen 40 or more shots six times this year and 40 in back-to-back games. He is third in the league in save percentage (.931).
