WICHITA, Kan. (Jan. 7) – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce that defenseman Noah Beck has been selected to represent the Thunder at this year's 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic, presented by Visit Allen, Texas and Allen CDC.

The game takes place at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 19 at Credit Union of Texas Event Center.

Beck, 24, is having a tremendous rookie campaign for the Thunder. He was reassigned to the Barracuda on January 2. The Richmond Hill, Ontario native leads Wichita in assists (19) while also being a key contributor on special teams as the quarterback of the power play. The former St. Louis Blues' draft pick is tied for fourth with 13 points (4g, 9a) on the man advantage.  

There have been 75 players from the ECHL All-Star Game have gone on to play in the National Hockey League, including 59 since 2002. 

The 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Allen, Texas and Allen CDC will consist players from the Allen Americans being combined with the ECHL All-Stars to form two teams – Stars and Stripes. The 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic presented by Visit Allen, Texas and Allen CDC will include the induction of the 18th class into the ECHL Hall of Fame on Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Courtyard by Marriott Dallas/Allen at the Event Center, the official host hotel of the 2026 Warrior/ECHL All-Star Classic.

The Thunder will play their next four against heated rival, Allen. Wichita will travel down to the Credit Union of Texas Event Center for games tonight and Friday before returning home this Saturday and Sunday.
