Vanroboys Comes Back from San Jose

WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 6) – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today that forward Lucas Vanroboys has been loaned to the Thunder from San Jose.

The 26-year-old returns to the Air Capitol after spending just over a week in San Jose, during which time he did not appear in a game. Prior to his recall, the 6-foot-2 forward had logged points in five of his last seven games in a Thunder uniform, amassing eight points (3g, 5a) in that span.

Vanroboys appeared in 69 games last year in San Jose, collecting 16 points (11g, 5a) to go along with 151 penalty minutes. 

Wichita returns home tonight to host the Tulsa Oilers for the first time this season. Faceoff is set for 6:05 p.m.
