WICHITA, Kan. (April 13) – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today the schedule for the opening round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs against the Tahoe Knight Monsters.

The series will be a best-of-seven series under a 2-3-2 format. The Thunder claimed home-ice advantage last night with a 3-1 win against the Knight Monsters.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams in the postseason. Wichita returns to playoff action for the first time since the 2020-21 season.
