Rapid City, SD (Feb. 9th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, plays for the second night in a row in the Black Hills against the Rapid City Rush.

The Thunder lost last night to Rapid City by the final of 2-1. Wichita has lost its last two games while the Rush have won two in a row.

Taylor Cammarata netted his first goal in a Thunder uniform last night. It was his 13th of the season. He buried a one-timer on the power play to cut the lead to 2-1. Ty Rimmer played a solid game last night in net for the Thunder despite the loss. He made two huge saves in the second period to prevent goals for the Rush. He has started the last four games for the Thunder and has been the goalie of record in the last five.

The Thunder remains in fifth place in the Mountain Division with 46 points, just one ahead of Rapid City, who has 45 points. Kansas City won last night, moving three points ahead of the Thunder in fourth place.

Pierre-Luc Mercier leads the Rush with 33 points (10g, 23a) while Cedric Montminy is second with 21 (11g, 10a). Steven Iacobellis leads the Thunder with 47 points (15g, 32a) while Ralph Cuddemi is second with 35 (18g, 17a).

THUNDERBOLTS... Keoni Texeira is first in power play assists (20) and tied for first in power play points (21)...Stuart Skinner is tied for the league lead in shootout wins (3)...Ralph Cuddemi is tied for the league-lead with 11 power play goals...Steven Iacobellis is eighth in the league and second among rookies with 47 points (15g, 31a)...Wichita is fifth on the power play (21.5%)...Wichita is 11-4-3-1 when leading after one...Wichita is 11-2-1-2 when leading after two...Wichita is 9-5-5-3 in one-goal games...
