Wichita is 0-1-0-0 vs. Cincinnati

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the second meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Cyclones. All-time, Wichita is 0-2-0-0 against Cincinnati.

FIRST TIME AROUND - In the only match-up of the season on January 4th, Wichita lost to the Cyclones by the final of 4-3. Matt DeBlouw recorded his third goal of the season in the first and Gabriel Gagne finished with a pair in the losing effort. Jordan Sims scored twice and Colin Mulvey recorded the game-winner with six minutes to go.

ROAD TRIP - Wichita will make its first-ever trip to US Bank Arena to take on the Cyclones this week. The Thunder plays at Cincinnati tonight and Friday. On Saturday, the Thunder will visit the Memorial Coliseum for the first time since the 2011-12 CHL Finals. Finally, Wichita will make its first trip of the season to iWireless Center on Sunday afternoon to face the Mallards.

WELCOME BACK - Head Coach Malcolm Cameron returns to a place he once coached earlier in his career. In fact, he began his career in Cincinnati back in 2002-03 where he went 36-29-3-4 in 72 games and lost in the third round of the playoffs.

NEXT ON THE LIST - Head Coach Malcolm Cameron is closing in on another milestone. He sits at 332 wins in the ECHL and needs one more victory to pass Frank Anzalone for sixth place all-time. He moved into a ninth place tie all-time in games coached in league history with 604 this past Sunday. He will pass Nick Vitucci on Wednesday night.
