Wichita Announces Several Roster Moves

Wichita, KS (Oct. 9th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced several roster moves today in preparation for Opening Night.

The team has released forwards John Gustafsson and Chad Brears as well as defenseman Brad Bourke and goaltender Alex Vazzano from their tryout agreements.

Wichita also added three players to the training camp roster, which includes forwards Vincent Arseneau, Alexis Loiseau and defensemen James Melindy. Arseneau and Loiseau were released from their tryout agreements with the Binghamton Senators while Melindy returns after attending camp with the Chicago Wolves.

The Thunder kicks off their 25th Anniversary season on Saturday, October 15th against the Tulsa Oilers. Season tickets are on sale now. Place a $25 deposit for up to four seats and pay it off in 14 payments. Contact a Thunder representative at the office today.
