Weekend Games at Greenville Postponed

Wichita, KS (Oct. 27th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced this afternoon that the team's two road games against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits have been postponed due to a mechanical malfunction at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

“Due to mechanical problems with the ice chiller, we are unable to maintain ice for the Swamp Rabbits' games scheduled for this Friday and Sunday,” said Beth Paul, General Manager of Bon Secours Wellness Arena. “Repairs to the chiller have started, and we greatly appreciate the Swamp Rabbits' organization and the ECHL's understanding and patience during this unfortunate and unforeseen situation.”

The two teams are working on rescheduled dates and will announce at a later time.

The Thunder returns home for a pair of games next week against the Utah Grizzlies, starting Friday, November 4th at 7:05 p.m. Wear your Black and Gold and come support WSU Night as we recognize Wichita State University.
