LAST WEEK - Wichita finished a home-and-home series against Allen this past weekend. On Friday, the Thunder won a high-scoring affair 6-5 in a shootout. Colin Jacobs netted the only shootout goal and Stuart Skinner stopped all three shooters he faced. On Saturday, Wichita traveled to Texas and claimed a 4-1 victory against the Americans.

TWO - Dyson Stevenson scored two goals in each game against Allen this past weekend. He finished with five points and leads the team in goals (4) and points (5).

STEWWY - Stuart Skinner improved to 3-0-0-0 with a pair of wins over the weekend. He is 2-0 in shootout situations after stopping all three shooters on Friday and leads the league in wins in that category.

MAN UP - Jakob Stukel scored Wichita's first power play goal of the season. He has two goals in three games as a rookie.

BUSTED - Wichita is one of five teams in the league that hasn't allowed a power play goal through two weekends. The Thunder penalty kill has busted all 20 power play attempt by the opponents and is tied for first in the league on the penalty kill. Only Fort Wayne has killed off more penalties without giving up a goal.

RIVALRY RENEWED - Wichita and Allen finished off a a three-game mini series this past weekend with the Thunder going 2-1 over that span. The two teams combined for 112 penalty minutes on Saturday night. Wichita will face Allen 11 more times before the end of the season.

THUNDERBOLTS... Steven Iacobellis had a Gordie Howe hat trick on Saturday night...PC Labrie leads the league in minor penalties with seven...Colin Jacobs leads the league in shootout goals (2)...Colin Larkin and Jared Wilson each have three assists, which is tied for second on the team...

Wichita remains on the road this week with one game against Tulsa on Saturday night. The Thunder finishes a three-game road swing on Friday, November at Kansas City and will return to INTRUST Bank Arena on Sunday, November 4th at 4:05 p.m. to host the Utah Grizzlies.
