Wichita, KS (Nov. 27th) - Wichita played four games in five days over the Thanksgiving holiday week. Take a look back at the week that was in this edition of Thunder Weekly.

LAST WEEK - Wichita took seven of a possible eight points last week and kept its lead in the Mountain Division. The Thunder began the holiday week with an overtime loss at Kansas City by the final of 3-2. Wichita headed to Quad City to begin a home-and-home series against the Mallards. The Thunder won in overtime, 3-2, and returned home on Saturday to knock off the Mallards, 4-2. Wichita closed out the week on Sunday afternoon with a 4-1 win against Kalamazoo.

HONEY BADGER - Joel Rumpel had an outstanding week for the Thunder between the pipes. He went 2-0-0, grabbing a win in overtime on Friday and then claiming a 4-1 win on Sunday. The University of Wisconsin product stopped 72 of 75 shots, good for a .960 save percentage and a 1.50 goals-against average last week. He is currently tied for seventh in the ECHL in goals-against average (2.38) and third in save percentage (.931).

DICE - Dyson Stevenson has points in his last four games. He had a shorthanded goal on Wednesday night in Kansas City, added assists in both games against the Mallards and finished the week yesterday with a Gordie Howe hat trick (goal, assist, fight). He is currently tied for third on the team in scoring with 13 points.

BALANCE - Wichita has eight players with 10 or more points and three more with nine points so far this season. Mark MacMillan leads the way with 10 goals and 18 points. Travis Ewanyk collected his seventh goal on Saturday against Quad City. Three others have five goals through 18 games.

FIRSTS - Evan Polei and Ralph Cuddemi recorded their first goals in a Thunder uniform on Sunday. Polei's goal was his first as a pro and he finished with seven shots on net. Cuddemi recorded his first marker since being acquired in a trade with the Fort Wayne Komets. He has three goals and seven points in 15 games this season.

QUICK START - Wichita has started games on the right note so far this season. The Thunder have outscored their opponents 25-10 in the first and leads the league in first-period goals. The Thunder have also outscored their opponents 29-18 in the second period this year.

OUT OF THE GATES - When the Thunder score first, they have been very successful. Wichita has scored the first goal 11 times in 18 games and is 10-1 when lighting the lamp before the opponent.

MILESTONE - Malcolm Cameron won his 350th game as a coach in the ECHL on Friday night. He is currently in fifth place all-time in that department with 352 wins and closing in on sixth place all-time in games coached. He has 645 and will tie Matt Thomas with 647.

THUNDERBOLTS... Samuel Thibault has assists in four-straight games (4a)... Jeremy Beaudry is tied for third in the league for defenseman with three power play goals...Wichita is first in the league in goals against per game (2.33) and fifth in goals for per game (3.67)...Wichita is 9-0-0-0 when leading after one...Wichita is 12-1-0-0 when leading after two...Wichita is 8-2-1-0 when being outshot by its opponent...Wichita is 4-1-2-0 in one-goal games...
