LAST WEEK - Wichita remained at home this week for three games, two of which were against the Utah Grizzlies. The Thunder hosted their first Kids Day Game in 15 years on Wednesday morning. Utah scored two goals in the third period and got the game-winner from Jake Marchment to knock the Thunder, 5-4. On Friday night, Utah claimed a 6-3 win to end the three-game mini-series. On Sunday afternoon, Wichita came back to take a 5-4 shootout win against the Allen Americans.

FOUR TIMES - Pierre-Cedric Labrie and Steven Iacobellis each had six points this past week and extended their point-streaks to four games. Labrie has one goal and five assists over that span while Iacobellis has two goals and four assists.

STEWWY - Stuart Skinner has been stellar in the shootout so far this season. He stopped all three shooters for Allen on Sunday, improving to 3-0 in the shootout. He has also stopped all eight shooters he's faced.

COMING ON - After only registering one point in his first six games, Ralph Cuddemi has started to come alive for the Thunder. He has points in his last four games, which included goals in three-straight. Cuddemi has five points (4g, 1a) in 10 games this season.

BROWNIE POINTS - Travis Brown has points his last three outings, registering four points over that span (2g, 2a). He has goals in three of his last five games and five points (3g, 2a) in 10 games so far this year.

FIRSTS - Mitch Maloney was inserted into the line-up on Sunday and made an immediate impact. He registered his first goal as a pro that tied the game in the first. Zach Todd scored later in the first period, recording his first goal in a Thunder uniform.

SCORING FIRST - Wichita has scored first in six of the 10 games the team has played. The Thunder are 3-0-3-0 in those situations. The Thunder won their first game when giving up the first goal on Sunday, knocking off Allen 5-4 in a shootout.

BY PERIOD - Wichita is outscoring teams 12-8 in the first period. The Thunder are being outscored 10-6 in the third, but have third-period goals in four-straight games.

The Thunder travels to Kansas City for a Kids Day Game on Tuesday morning starting at 10:30 a.m.

Wichita returns home for back-to-back games next Friday and Saturday night against the Mavericks. Friday, November 16th is Wizards Night, honoring the world of Harry Potter. Saturday night is Nickelodeon Night featuring SpongeBob SquarePants.
