WEEKEND SPLITS - Wichita welcomed the Utah Grizzlies to the Air Capital for the first time in franchise history this past Friday and Saturday night. The Thunder claimed a 6-2 victory on Friday night. On Saturday night, the Grizzlies flipped the tables and took home a 5-3 road win. The loss snapped the Thunder's four-game winning streak.

BALANCE - Wichita had plenty of balance on Friday night in its 6-2 win over Utah. Six different players lit the lamp with three of those being scored by players who were looking for their first goals of the season. Mitch Holmberg, Gerrad Grant and Alexis Vanier each recorded their first of the year and Drew Owsley took home a 32-save victory for his second win of the season. Seven players have scored at least two goals so far this season.

STREAKS - Alexis Loiseau and Louick Marcotte are both riding four-game point streaks. Loiseau has seven points (3g, 4a) over that span and three-straight games in which he recorded a goal and an assist. Marcotte has six points (2g, 4a) over his last four.

CENTURY MARK - Landon Oslanski hit a milestone this past Saturday. He recorded his 100 point as a professional with an assist. The Camrose, Alberta native has 31 goals and 69 assists in his career.

RODEY - Jack Rodewald caught fire over the weekend. He had a goal and an assist on Friday and then followed that up with a pair of goals on Saturday night. He is the first player this season to have two or more goals in a game.

SPECIAL - The Thunder's special teams units have been solid so far this year. Wichita is currently sixth on the power play, operating at a 21.4% clip. The penalty kill allowed its first two goals against last Saturday and is now second in the ECHL at 90.9%. Prior to Saturday night, Wichita had killed off 18-straight penalties.

FINISHING STRONG - Wichita has been a strong third-period team to this point in the season. Wichita is outscoring its opponents 12-2 and outshooting them 65-54.

Vincent Arseneau and Matt DeBlouw are tied for second in shorthanded goals (1)...Chris Rumble is tied for ninth in plus/minus (+7)...Jack Rodewald is tied for 13th in goals scored...Drew Owsley is fifth in rookie goals-against average (2.69) and fourth in save percentage (.927)...Wichita is 2-0-0-0 when leading after two...Wichita is 2-2-0-0 when trailing after two...Wichita is 3-2-0-0 when outshot by its opponent...
