LAST WEEK - Wichita began the week with a Wednesday tilt against the Quad City Mallards. The visitors jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 12 minutes of the game. After a goalie change, Wichita came roaring back to make it a 3-2 contest with goals from Louick Marcotte and Maxime St-Cyr. Quad City re-gained a three-goal advantage with two unanswered and won 5-2. On Friday, the Thunder took on Missouri to start a home-and-home series. The Mavericks claimed a 4-2 win on Friday and then knocked off Wichita the following night in overtime by the final of 3-2. The Thunder closed the weekend with a trip to iWireless Center for a rematch with the Mallards. Quad City claimed a tight, low scoring game in overtime, 2-1.

SHOOTING GALLERY - Wichita has had plenty of scoring chances over the last 12 games. The Thunder have fired 30 or more shots over that span and have reached 40 shots in four of the last six games.

WORKING OT - The Thunder played back-to-back overtime games over the weekend and came out on the losing end in both contests. Wichita and Missouri have played four-straight games at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena past regulation with the Mavericks taking three of the four in overtime. Wichita is 3-5 in games decided in the extra period and have appeared in 10 games past regulation.

CAREER HIGH - Louick Marcotte recorded his 15th goal of the season on Saturday night. He needs one more to equal his totals from last season, his rookie year, in Adirondack where he collected 16 goals. He has already set a new career high in assists (19) and points (34).

LOWE PLACES - Ian Lowe recorded an assist on Friday night, giving him 206 points in Thunder blue. He needs nine points to reach 30, which he has accomplished in each of the last four years with the Thunder.

FIRST TIMER - Jeremy Beaudry recorded his first professional goal on Sunday afternoon. He buried a one-timer from the deep slot on the power play that tied the game at one against Quad City. The rookie defenseman from Montmagny, Quebec joined the team on March 14th after playing three seasons at the University of Quebec-Trois-Rivieres.

LAST TIME - Wichita hosts Quad City tomorrow night, which will finish off a span of three games in seven days between the two teams. Quad City leads the season-series, 0-2-1-0 and will be the season-finale between the Thunder and the Mallards.
