LAST WEEKEND - Wichita traveled to Allen for a pair of games to close a five-game road trip. Wichita trailed 3-0 heading into the third period before Louick Marcotte and Brandon Carlson scored to cut the lead to one. Allen re-took the lead and went on to win the game by the final of 5-3. On Saturday, the two teams were deadlocked at one heading into the final period when Allen erupted for three goals. Ryan Tesink scored with four minutes left to cut the lead two, but the Thunder couldn't get any closer and lost 4-2.

RED HOT - Jamie Doornbosch has been red hot since returning to the Thunder line-up. He collected three assists in two games last weekend against Allen and has seven points in his last five games (1g, 6a). The rookie defenseman from Richmond Hill, Ontario has 27 points (9g, 18a) in 32 games this season.

SHORT - Gerrad Grant is tied for third in the league with three shorthanded assists.

CAREER HIGH - Louick Marcotte recorded his 13th goal of the season on Friday night. He needs three more to equal his totals from last season, his rookie year, in Adirondack where he collected 16 goals. He has already set a new career high in assists (19) and points (32). He has points in back-to-back games (1g, 1a) heading into tomorrow's game with Quad City.

MAJOR - James Melindy is third among defensemen with 12 majors and second in minor penalties with 45. He leads the team in penalty minutes with 180.

BUSY - The Thunder's schedule gets heavier this week after going two-straight weeks with just a pair of games both weeks. The Thunder takes on Quad City on Wednesday, host Missouri on Friday, travel to Independence to face the Mavericks on Saturday and finish the weekend in Quad City on Sunday afternoon.

THUNDERBOLTS... Vincent Arseneau is tied for fourth with five shorthanded points and tied for first with four shorthanded goals...Wichita is fifth in the league in shorthanded goals (11)...Wichita is fifth in the league in penalty minutes per game (17.83)...Wichita is 11th in the league in shots for per game (32.37)...Wichita is tied for second to last in games past regulation (8)...Wichita is 12-2-2-1 when leading after two...Wichita is 7-10-1-0 when tied after one...Wichita is 8-12-2-0 when outshooting its opponent...
