WEEK IN REVIEW - Wichita finished its seven-game road trip with a pair of games last weekend at Allen. The Americans took both contests to close out the season-series, winning on Saturday night by the final of 6-3 and taking Sunday's meeting with a 3-2 victory. The loss on Saturday night snapped the team's three-game winning streak. Wichita returns home starting Tuesday for the next six games.

KERB CHECK - Kale Kerbashian recorded a goal and an assist on Sunday afternoon, giving him 11 points (5g, 6a) against his former team. He also had an assist on Saturday night. Since coming over from Rapid City, the Thunder Bay, Ontario native has 27 points (11g, 16a) in 27 games with the Thunder. He leads the team in points (37), goals (14) and assists (23).

KOOL AID - Miles Koules has been a solid addition to the Thunder line-up. He has five points in five games, including two assists in both games this past weekend at Allen. Overall, he has 18 points (4g, 14a) in 49 games during his rookie season.

FEELING BLUE - Wichita got offense from its defense on Saturday night to help the Thunder try to stay in the game. Dalton Reum scored five minutes after Allen took a 1-0 lead, which was his fourth of the year. Martin Nemcik added a third-period goal to cut the lead back to two. It was also his fourth goal of the season. Eric Springer added an assist on the Reum goal.

30 - Wichita has reached 30 or more shots in six-straight games. Over the weekend, the Thunder hit 40-plus in both meetings against the Americans and have hit 40 or more in three of the last five games.

MILESTONE - Head Coach Kevin McClelland is nearing two milestones behind the Thunder bench. He is 10 games shy of 200 wins and five games shy of coaching in his 400th game in his Thunder career.

HOME COOKIN' - Wichita returns home for a heavy helping of home games down the stretch. Tomorrow, the Thunder will begin a six-game homestand tomorrow night against the Alaska Aces and will conclude with Quad City on Tuesday, March 29th. Wichita heads out to Rapid City for a pair at the beginning of April before finishing with two of three contests against the Tulsa Oilers at home to finish the season.

FIRST TIMER - Wichita will host the Alaska Aces for the first-time ever tomorrow and Wednesday night. This will be the sixth new opponent that the Thunder will see this season. Wichita won't make a trip to Alaska this year.

INDEPENDENCE CUP - The Thunder picked up its first win of the season in the Independence Cup Series against Missouri on March 4th. Wichita will host the Mavericks on March 19th and 20th to close out the season-series.
