LAST WEEK - Wichita traveled to Texas for the first time since New Year's Eve to face Allen this past weekend. The Thunder split the series, winning Friday by the final of 3-0 and losing Saturday, 5-2.

GOOSE EGG - Shane Starrett stopped all 33 shots he faced on Friday night en route to his first pro shutout. It was the team's first shutout of the season as well. Starrett is ninth in the league in goals-against average (2.49) and fourth in save percentage (.927).

EASY MAC - Mark MacMillan had a goal and two assists over the weekend. He recorded his 15th of the year on Saturday night that helped get Wichita on the board. He is tied for the team-lead in goals and leads the team with 31 points.

BROWNIE POINTS - Travis Brown has assists in back-to-back games. He has already surpassed his career totals in assists (19) and points (26). He needs one more goal to tie his career high in that category.

THE BUTCHER DID IT - Chad Butcher recorded his fifth goal of the season on Saturday night, finding a rebound near the crease and sliding it in. It was his first goal since January 5th against Quad City. The rookie forward from Kamloops, British Columbia has 16 points (5g, 11a) in 27 games.

SHOTS - Ralph Cuddemi continues to lead the team in shots on net. He has fired 148 shots in 38 games so far this year. He led the team in shots on Friday (7) and Saturday (5). Cuddemi is tied for the team-lead in goals with 15.

LATTS - Nick Latta recorded his first goal in a Thunder uniform last Friday night. The German-born forward returned to the states after playing the last four years in the DEL.

THUNDERBOLTS... Jeremy Beaudry is tied for fifth for power play goals for a defenseman (5)...Travis Brown is tied for 12th in scoring by a defenseman (7g, 17a)...Wichita is 17-6-0-0 when scoring first...Wichita is 15-1-0-0 when leading after one...Wichita is 18-2-0-0 when leading after two...Wichita is 14-8-1 when outshot by its opponent...Wichita is 12-4-3 against the Central and 12-10 against the Mountain...Wichita is fourth in the league on the penalty away from home (87.7%)

The Thunder finishes a three-game road trip on Wednesday night with a visit to Tulsa starting at 7:05 p.m.
