LAST WEEKEND - Wichita hosted the Indy Fuel to begin the week. Both goaltenders were brilliant throughout the game. Jonathan Carlsson scored late in the third and Jake Hildebrand held the Thunder off the board for a 1-0 win. On Friday night, Bryan Moore recorded a natural hat trick within a three-minute span in the third period and the Americans knocked off Wichita by the final of 5-3. The Thunder rebounded on Saturday night, winning a high-scoring affair by the final of 7-5.

TWIN KILLING - Ryan Rupert faced off against his twin brother, Matt, this past Tuesday night. It was the first time the two brothers had played against each other in a professional hockey game. Ryan broke out this past Friday and Saturday, recording six points (3g, 3a). He had a goal and an assist on Friday night in Allen and the followed that up with two goals and two helpers on Saturday night.

BACK ON TRACK - Alexis Loiseau collected his second three-point game of the season on Saturday. He scored his team-leading 16th goal and added two assists. He leads the team in points with 29 (16g, 13a).

SIX - Zach O'Brien has made a quick impact since signing with the Thunder. In just four games, he has six points (2g, 4a) and has points in three of the four games he has appeared in.

HEATING UP - Matt DeBlouw has been red hot over the last seven games. He had a four points over the weekend (1g, 3a) and has points in five out of his last seven games. The rookie forward from Michigan State University is second on the team in scoring with 16 points.

SEASON-HIGH - Wichita scored seven goals on Saturday night, which is a season-high and just the second time this year that the team has potted six or more at home.

NEXT ON THE LIST - Head Coach Malcolm Cameron is closing in on another milestone. He sits at 330 wins in the ECHL and needs three more victories to pass Frank Anzalone for sixth place all-time.

POWER AND LIGHT - The Thunder power play came alive over the weekend. Wichita scored a new season-high three times in Allen on the man advantage and added two more on Saturday night against Missouri. The Thunder finished 5-for-12, which was good for a 41.7% clip. Wichita moved up to 16th overall on the power play (16.1%).

THUNDERBOLTS... Wichita is fourth in the league in shorthanded goals (8)…Wichita is second in the league in penalty minutes per game (19)...Vincent Arseneau is tied for first in shorthanded goals (8) and shorthanded points (4)...Wichita is 8-2-1-1 when leading after two...Wichita is 5-6-0-0 when tied after one...Wichita is 8-10-1-1 when outshot by its opponent...
