LAST WEEK - Wichita began the week with a home contest against the Kansas City Mavericks. The Thunder trailed early on as Dan Correale scored less than a minute into the game. Wichita rattled off three-unanswered and won by the final of 3-1. The Thunder closed the weekend with a pair of road defeats, losing 7-1 at Indy on Saturday night and 3-2 at Kalamazoo on Sunday.

POINT A GAME - Greg Chase has been solid since being assigned to the Thunder. He has 16 points (6g, 10a) in 16 games and is tied for the team-lead in assists with Dyson Stevenson.

TEAM LEAD - Mark MacMillan potted his team-leading 11th goal of the season on Sunday afternoon. It was his first marker in his last four outings after scoring twice against Quad City on November 24th. He leads the team in points with 19.

SPARTY - Matt DeBlouw has been red hot as of late. The Michigan State product has goals in four of his last five, five goals in his last five games and points in five of his last six games (5g, 2a). He had 14 goals during his rookie season last year.

RALPHIE - Ralph Cuddemi has been a solid pick-up for the Thunder. He has five points (4g, 1a) in nine games since being acquired in a trade from Fort Wayne. Overall, he has 11 points (6g, 5a) in 19 games between the two teams.

ROAD TRIP - Wichita is in the middle of a five-game road trip that will end this week against divisional foes. The Thunder will face both Colorado and Idaho for the first time this season. The Eagles leapfrogged the Thunder into first place by one point with their win this past Saturday against Rapid City. Idaho is two back of Wichita with 32 points.

MILESTONE - Head Coach Malcolm Cameron reached another milestone on Saturday night, moving alone into sixth place all-time in ECHL games coached. He is now at 649 after Sunday's meeting in Kalamazoo.

FIRSTS - Wichita made its first-ever trip to the Wings Event Center this past Sunday and will do the same later this week in Boise. The Thunder will play a pair of games against the Steelheads at CenturyLink Arena, a place that they have never been.

THUNDERBOLTS... Joel Rumpel is 12th in goals against (2.53) and ninth in save percentage (.925)…Shane Starrett made his AHL debut this past Saturday for the Bakersfield Condors…Wichita is third in the league on the power play (21.7%)...Wichita is second in the league in goals against per game (2.55) and sixth in goals for per game (3.59)...Wichita is 10-0-0-0 when leading after one...Wichita is 13-2-0-0 when leading after two...Wichita is 10-3-1-0 when being outshot by its opponent...Wichita is 4-2-2-0 in one-goal games...
