LAST WEEK - Wichita closed an eight-game road trip this past week and then returned home for the first time since March 7th. The Thunder took a 1-0 lead, but gave up four unanswered and lost in Allen on Wednesday night by the final of 4-1. On Friday, Tulsa jumped out to a 3-0 advantage. Ralph Cuddemi and Travis Ewanyk scored in the third to get the Thunder back in the game, but the Oilers held off the rally for a 3-2 win.

EASY MAC - Mark MacMillan finished off a hot month of March with an assist on Friday. He led the team in scoring during the month with 13 points (4g, 9a). He has seven points in his last five games (2g, 5a).

MILESTONE - Ralph Cuddemi became the first Thunder player since 2014-15 to reach the 30-goal plateau with his third-period marker on Friday. He is third in the league in shots on net with 270 and leads the team in points with 60.

VANNY TIME - Ryan Van Stralen was also red hot in the month of March. He finished with 11 points (5g, 6a) during the team's 12 games. He scored the team's lone goal on Wednesday night in Allen.

PLAYOFF PUSH - The race for the final two spots in the Mountain Division tightened up even more over the weekend. Allen moved into third place two points ahead of the Thunder with a win on Saturday night against Colorado. Wichita leads the Oilers by one point for fourth place. Tulsa plays tonight against Kansas City, which is its game in hand on both Wichita and Allen. Wichita owns the tie breakers over both Allen and Tulsa, which makes tomorrow's meeting against Allen that much more important for the Thunder.

In fact, the crowd was the second largest in the ECHL this season. The Thunder plays their final home game of the regular season tomorrow night against Allen starting at 7:05 p.m.
