Thunder Starts Holiday Week Tonight in Tulsa

Wichita, KS (Nov. 20th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, begins a busy holiday week tonight with a visit to the BOK Center to face the Tulsa Oilers.

The Thunder and the Oilers will see each other three times this week in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series. Tulsa won the first meeting on October 27th by the final of 2-1 in overtime. Wichita picked up three points this past week, losing to Kansas City on Saturday night in a shootout, 4-3. The Oilers lost 2-0 on Saturday against the Allen Americans.

Adam Pleskach leads the Oilers with 12 points (6g, 6a) while Ryan Tesink is second with nine points (1g, 8a). Steven Iacobellis (6g, 6a) and Pierre Cedric Labrie (4g, 8a) lead the Thunder with 12 points each. Dyson Stevenson is in third with 10 points (5g, 5a).
