HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the second and final meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Komets. All-time, Wichita is 4-1-1 against Fort Wayne and 1-1-1 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita plays the middle portion of a three-in-three this weekend at Fort Wayne. Fort Wayne defeated Indy last night 5-1 while Wichita is coming off a 2-0 loss at Cincinnati. The Komets are currently behind Toledo in second place in the Central Division with 69 points while the Thunder sits in sixth with 36 points.

ITS BEEN A WHILE - Wichita returns to Fort Wayne tonight for the first time since the 2011-12 season when the two teams met in the CHL Finals. The Komets took the series in five games, winning the final contest at Memorial Coliseum.

LOWESY - Ian Lowe netted his sixth goal of the season on Wednesday night. He needs one more point to pull into a fifth place tie with Mark Karpen, who currently has 203 points in franchise history. He also recorded his 81st goal in a Thunder uniform and needs four more to pull into a ninth place tie with Jim McGeough, who has 85.

SPARTY - Matt DeBlouw recorded a goal and an assist on Wednesday night. The rookie forward from Michigan State University recorded his fifth multi-point outing of the season and leads the team with 31 points (12g, 19a).

FAMILIAR FACES - Two players from last year's team will face the Thunder tonight. Dan Milan has appeared in 50 games for the Komets, recording six points (1g, 7a) and collecting 65 penalty minutes. Mason Baptista has played in 44 games, tallying 21 points (11g, 10a).

SIXTH - Head Coach Malcolm Cameron claimed his 333rd victory in the ECHL on Wednesday and passed Nick Vitucci alone into sixth place all-time. He also coached in his 606th game on an ECHL bench, putting him alone into ninth place all-time.
