Thunder Announces Two Roster Moves

Wichita, KS (Oct. 19th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced two transactions today. Defenseman Greg Amlong has been sent to the Reading Royals for cash considerations and forward Tommy Veilleux has been placed on waivers.

Amlong, 24, played in his first professional game this past Saturday against Tulsa. The O'Fallon, Missouri native was signed in the offseason after playing two years at UMass-Lowell and then transferring to RIT for his final two seasons.

Wichita hosts the Missouri Mavericks on Friday night for the first time this season. This is the first of 14 meetings between the two teams and a chance for the Thunder to get off to a good start after going 2-12-0-1 last year against Missouri.

Individual tickets for all Thunder home games are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at the INTRUST Arena Box office, by calling 855-755-SEAT or go online at www.selectaseat.com.

Contact a Thunder representative at the office today to learn more about our great season, group and other ticket packet opportunities!
