Thunder Announces Several Roster Moves

Wichita, KS (March 29th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced several transactions today.

Forward Zach O'Brien has been returned to the team after being loaned to the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators. Forward Chris LeBlanc has been added to the roster. Defenseman Macoy Erkamps has been reassigned by the Ottawa Senators to Binghamton. Forward Daniel Tedesco was released from his amateur tryout. Forward Ben Duffy has been placed on waivers.

O'Brien, 24, returns to Wichita after playing in one game with the Senators. He recorded a goal in a 5-4 loss to Rochester on March 25th. The St. John's, Newfoundland native has 19 points (6g, 13a) in 25 games for the Thunder.

LeBlanc, 23, is a former sixth round draft pick (#161 overall) of the Ottawa Senators in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. A native of Winthrop, Massachusetts, the 6-foot-3, 191-pound forward just completed a four-year career at Merrimack College. He tallied 48 points (22g, 26a) in 113 games for the Warriors. He was signed to an amateur tryout by Binghamton on March 8 and appeared in five games for the B-Sens.

The Thunder will head to Tulsa on Friday night to start a three-in-three with the game starting at 7:05 p.m.
