Wichita, KS (Sept. 9th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced this morning that the team will play the Allen Americans in their exhibition game at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, October 8th at the Wichita Ice Center.
This will be the second-straight year that the two rivals will face off against each other in the preseason. Wichita won last year's match-up by the final of 7-2. The Thunder was originally scheduled to host the Missouri Mavericks.
Tickets go on sale this coming Monday at 10 a.m., are just $10 and can only be purchased from the Thunder office. Call 316-264-4625 for more details.
Wichita opens the 2016-17 campaign at home starting at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, October 15th against the Tulsa Oilers. Tickets can be purchased at Select-A-Seat Box Office at INTRUST Bank Arena, by calling 855-755-SEAT or go online at www.selectaseat.com.
