Thunder Adds St. Cloud State Product Tedesco

Thunder Adds St. Cloud State Product Tedesco

Wichita, KS (March 20th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced today the signing of forward Daniel Tedesco to an amateur tryout agreement.

Tedesco, 23, just finished his senior campaign at St. Cloud State University. A native of Maple, Ontario, the 6-foot, 205-pound forward appeared in 98 games over four seasons for the Huskies, tallying 24 points (8g, 16a). He earned All-NCHC Academic team honors in back-to-back seasons from 2014-16.

Prior to heading to St. Cloud State, Tedesco played his junior hockey for the Ontario Junior Hockey League's Villanova Knights and Toronto Lakeshore Patriots. He racked up 150 points over three seasons (64g, 86a). He also had 21 points (13g, 8a) in 21 games for the Patriots during the 2011-12 playoffs.

In a separate transaction, defenseman Brandon Carlson has been placed on reserve.

The Thunder returns home for the next two games, beginning on Wednesday night starting at 7:05 p.m. against Quad City.
