Wichita, KS (Feb. 23rd) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, added forward Brad Cuzner prior to yesterday's game against Cincinnati. Cuzner, 24, began the season in training camp with the Thunder. The rookie forward has appeared in 40 games with the Southern Profressional Hockey League's Evansville Thunderbolts, recording 12 points (1g, 11a). Before he turned pro, he spent the last four years at St. Francis Xavier University. The 5-foot-10, 183-pound forward appeared in 105 games for the X-Men, collecting 33 points (17g, 16a). Cuzner joins his former teammate, Drew Owsley, in the Air Capital.A native of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Cuzner played three seasons in the QMJHL with Cape Breton and Halifax. His best season came in 2011-12 when he netted 24 points (12g, 12a) to go along with 61 penalty minutes. He is known as a relentless worker who plays with an edge to his game. The Thunder remains in Ohio tomorrow to face the Cincinnati Cyclones at 6:35 p.m. CST.Individual tickets for all Thunder home games are now on sale.
