Milan Dealt to Fort Wayne for Futures

Wichita, KS (August 17th) - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators and powered by Toyota, announced a trade this afternoon, sending the rights for Dan Milan to the Fort Wayne Komets for future considerations.

Milan, 24, appeared in 138 games for the Thunder. He racked up 310 penalty minutes to go along with 27 points (1g, 26a) in his two seasons in the Air Capital. A native of Detroit, Michigan, the 6-foot-3, 206-pound blueliner served as the team's alternate captain last year.

The Thunder kicks off their 25th Anniversary season on Saturday, October 15th against the Tulsa Oilers. Season tickets are on sale now. Place a $25 deposit for up to four seats and pay it off in 14 payments. Contact a Thunder representative at the office today.
