Wichita is 0-9-0-1 vs. Missouri

HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the 11th meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Mavericks. All-time, Wichita is 35-31-4 against Missouri and 15-15-3 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita heads to Independence, MO for a pair of games starting tonight against the Mavericks. The Thunder snapped a nine-game losing skid on Wednesday night against Evansville with a 4-2 win. Missouri's last contest was also against the IceMen, winning 6-5 in overtime on Tuesday night. The Thunder are looking for their first win of the season against the Mavericks, who have taken all but one point in the Independence Cup Series.

GOALIE MATCH-UP - Josh Robinson has started in five games against the Thunder, going 5-0-0-0, with a 1.20 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage. Grant Rollheiser has appeared in four games against the Mavericks, going 0-2-0-0 with a goals-against average of 3.24 and .903 save percentage.

SERIES LEADERS - Mason Baptista leads the Thunder in points scored in the season-series against the Mavericks with four (3g, 1a). Tyler Barnes (4g, 6a) and Rocco Carzo (1g, 9a) each have 10 points against Wichita this season.

CAREER NIGHT - Logan Nelson recorded his first pro hat trick and added an assist on Wednesday night to carry the Thunder to a 4-2 win over Evansville. The second-year pro out of Rogers, Minnesota had a career-high four points, which is also a season-high for a Thunder player in a single game this year. He has five goals in his last two games. It was also the first hat trick recorded by a Thunder player this season.

BASH BRO - Kale Kerbashian has made an impact since coming over from Rapid City. In 10 games with the Thunder, Kerbashian has 11 points (3g, 8a), including two assists on Wednesday night. He leads all Thunder players with 13 points in January (4g, 9a).

MILLER TIME - Kenton Miller has been one of the Thunder's most consistent players recently. In 12 games during January, Miller has scored 11 points (4g, 7a) and leads the team in points with 22 (10g, 12a).

700 - Head Coach Kevin McClelland is nearing a milestone, sitting just two games back of coaching in his 700th pro game of his career. The former Stanley Cup Champion is the Thunder's all-time winningest coach, going 186-149-43.
