**Wichita is 2-2-1-3 vs. Tulsa

HEAD TO HEAD - This is the ninth of 14 meetings between the Thunder and the Oilers. Wichita is 2-2-1-3 this season vs. Tulsa. All-time, Wichita is 131-105-22 and 73-45-11 at home against the Oilers.

TODAY - Wichita and Tulsa meet for the first time since December 17th. The Thunder are coming off a loss last night at home against Rapid City while the Oilers won a pair of games in Brampton last weekend and were off last night. Tonight's installment is the 259th all-time meeting between Wichita and Tulsa. The Oilers lead the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series, having won four games past regulation. This will be just the Oilers third trip of the season to INTRUST Bank Arena and first since November 30th. Three Oilers have 50 points with Drew Fisher recording 53 while Jon Booras and Adam Pleskach have 50 each. Ian Lowe continues to lead Wichita with 45 points and Danick Gauthier is right behind him with 44.

CLIPPED - Wichita had a 2-1 lead heading into the third period last night before Dylan Clarke and Cody Ferriero combined for two in the final frame for the Rush. The Thunder had one last charge, but couldn't find the back of the net and lost 3-2. With the loss, the Thunder are just two points ahead of Rapid City for third place in the Central Division.

200 - Mike Wilson finished with a goal and an assist, putting him six points from reaching 200 for his career. He also extended his point-streak to six games, tallying nine points over that span (2g, 7a). In 115 games in a Thunder uniform, the seven-year pro out of North Vancouver, BC has 74 points (18g, 56a).

GO TIME - Danick Gauthier made a great play in the neutral zone and set up Mike Wilson on Wichita's first goal last night. He extended his point-streak to four games since returning from a brief stint with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL, piling up seven points (3g, 4a) in that span. The third-year pro out of Brossard, PQ has 84 points (36g, 47a) in 139 games.

WORKHORSE - Tim Boron has appeared in seven straight and 11 of the last 13 games. He has gone 4-2-0-1 over that span and is tied for sixth in the league with 18 wins. The Thunder has had to ride the nine-year pro from Winnipeg, MB with Tyler Bunz up with the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL. He is 2-1-1-1 in five starts against Tulsa with a goals against of 3.30 and a .887 save percentage.

ONE TIME - Last night's loss in regulation stopped a three-game streak that saw Wichita play into overtime or a shootout. It was also the fourth-straight game against the Rush that was decided by one goal. In fact, it was the fifth-straight game decided by that margin. Wichita is 13-5-2-5 in one-goal games.

VERSUS - Jon Booras and Nathan Lutz will face their old teams today. Booras has seven points against Wichita, finding the net four times in seven games. Lutz has two assists and 20 penalty minutes in the season-series. Drew Fisher has one goal and six assists against the Thunder. Adam Pleskach has four goals and two assists. Ian Lowe leads the way for the Thunder with eight points in eight games against Tulsa.

TULSA NOTES - Adam Pleskach leads the league in shots on net (235) and second in goals (27)…Kevin Carr has allowed only five goals in his last four starts, giving him a 1.25 goals against average and a .956 save percentage… In the last two games, the line of Jon Booras, T.J. Caig, and Tommy Mele has produced 10 points (4 goals, 6 assists) and a +10 rating…Tulsa is in the middle of a season-long eight-game road trip… Caig is on a seven-game point streak (1g, 6a), the second-longest point streak of any Oiler this season…
