HEAD TO HEAD - This is the second meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Eagles All-time, Wichita is 21-29-4 against Colorado and 15-11-2 at home in the series. The Thunder and Eagles will play six games against one another.

THUNDER TOP EAGLES - Wichita got off to a quick start when newcomer Todd Fiddler scored just 18 seconds into the game. Colorado's Trent Daavettila tied the game midway through the first. Wichita re-gained the lead, scoring three goals before the first period was over. Dalton Reum extended the lead to 4-1 in the second as his shot from the point beat Colorado goaltender Jacob DeSerres. Mason Baptista scored the Thunder's fifth goal of the game just under two minutes into the third period.

HALLOWEEN MATINEE - Wichita is 5-3-0 all-time on Halloween. The last time the Thunder played on the spookiest day of the year was in Tulsa back during the 2010-11 season. Wichita won the contest by the final score of 8-0.

THUNDERBOLTS...Rookie Anthony Deluca leads the team in shots (18) and is tied for the team-lead in points (4)...Three Thunder defense¬man have goals so far (Martell, Harris, Reum) which account for just over 30% of Wichita's total goals on the season...Wichita has scored six of their 16 goals in the second period...Last night newcomer Todd Fiddler scored his first goal in his first game in a Thunder uniform...Wichita is 3-1-0-0 when scoring first.

COLORADO NOTES - Collin Bowman is second among defensemen with three goals...Darryl Bootland returns to the Air Capital for the first time in two seasons, having played for Allen in 2012-13 when he met the Thunder in the CHL Finals...Colorado has the 4th ranked power play at 23.8%.

AROUND THE ECHL - There are eight other games today in the ECHL. Evansville heads to Greenville. Idaho plays at Utah. Alaska goes to Rapid City. Orlando plays at Reading. Manchester is at Elmira. Cincinnati takes on Fort Wayne. Quad City goes east to Wheeling. Missouri is in Allen.
