Wichita is 0-3-1-0 vs. Allen

HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the fifth meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Americans. All-time, Wichita is 18-27-5 against Allen and 9-12-4 at home in the series.

TODAY - Wichita returns home tonight to host Allen for the first of three-straight games against the two teams. The Thunder play Allen at INTRUST Bank Arena tonight and tomorrow and will follow that up with a trip to the Dallas area on Sunday afternoon. Both teams are coming off of overtime losses on Monday. Wichita fell at the hands of the Utah Grizzlies by the final of 3-2 while Allen lost to Cincinnati 4-3, also in overtime.

GOALIE MATCH-UP - Joel Rumpel is 1-0 against the Thunder this season, winning 5-2 back on Tuesday, November 10th. With Riley Gill out with a concussion, Rumpel with have to take over the workload for the Americans. He is sporting a GAA of 2.00 and a save percentage of .913 against the Thunder. Grant Rollheiser has seen Allen twice, going 0-1-1-0 with a GAA of 3.89 and save percentage of .879.

SERIES LEADERS - Chad Costello leads all scorers in the season-series with nine points (4g, 5a). David Makowski has two goals and three points in three games against Wichita. Andy Huff has two points (1g, 1a) in three games against Allen this year. Baptista (1g, 1a), Lowe (1g, 1a), Nelson (1g, 1a) and Neal (2a) all have two points in four games versus the Americans.

BASHING ALONG - Kale Kerbashian has been on fire since being acquired back in early January. In six games for the Thunder, Kale has scored seven points (3g, 4a). The Thunder Bay, Ontario native has points in his last three games (2g, 2a) including two goals this past Monday. This weekend will be his first meeting against his former team since joining the Thunder. Kerbashian played two seasons for Allen, winning two CHL titles.

OVERTIME - Utah claimed a 3-2 overtime win on Monday, dropping Wichita to 1-3 in games decided in the extra session. It was the second game in a row between the two teams that finished 3-2 in OT. Since December 18th, Wichita has played a ton past regulation, appearing in eight of its last 15 contests that needed either overtime or a shootout. Wichita is 7-6-3-4 in one-goal games this season, tied for third in the league for the most one-goal outcomes.

FANTASY JERSEYS - Ian Lowe will wear a special ECHL Fantasy jersey in tonight's game against the Allen Americans. David Shantz will wear his MeiGray Golden Goalie Program jersey during his next start. Each of the Fantasy Team skater and MeiGray goaltender jerseys will be available for bid through The MeiGray Group. Jerseys will be available for bid starting on March 3 and running through March 24.

THREE-IN-THREE - Wichita and Allen begin a three-in-three tonight with the first two games taking place in Wichita. After Saturday's game, the Thunder will travel down to Allen to face he Americans on Sunday afternoon. The two teams will play one more three-in-three this season towards the end of February. Wichita has one more home game against the Americans on February 26th and then will finish the season-series with four-straight at the Allen Event Center.

RED HOT - Kenton Miller has been the Thunder's hottest player as of late. He scored his eighth goal of the season on Saturday night and has points in his last five games, which is a season-long streak for a Thunder player (1g, 4a).
