Wichita is 0-2-1-0 vs. Allen

HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the fourth meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Americans. All-time, Wichita is 18-26-5 against Allen and 9-11-4 at home in the series.

TODAY - Allen and Wichita faced each other on Sunday afternoon with the Americans claiming a 3-2 overtime win at INTRUST Bank Arena. After tonight, the Thunder will not see Allen until a three-game set towards the end of January when Wichita hosts Allen on January 22nd, 23rd and then heads to Allen on the 24th. Both teams will travel to Missouri after the game as the Thunder take on the Mavericks on New Year's Eve and the Americans face Missouri on New Year's Day.

GOALIE MATCH-UP - Riley Gill improved to 2-0 against the Thunder this season, winning 3-2 in a shootout on Sunday afternoon. With Joel Rumpel on IR, Gill has had to be the workhorse for the Americans. He is sporting a GAA of .97 and a save percentage of .974 against the Thunder. Grant Rollheiser has seen Allen twice, going 0-1-1-0 with a GAA of 3.89 and save percentage of .879. He was solid on Sunday afternoon in the losing effort making 31 saves.

SERIES LEADERS - Chad Costello leads all scorers in the season-series with six points (3g, 3a). Eric Roy has three goals and four points against Wichita. Logan Nelson leads the way for the Thunder against Allen with two points (1g, 1a) while four other players have registered goals against the Americans.

SPRING INTO ACTION - Eric Springer scored his first goal of the year to tie the game late in the third period. The Wrightstown, WI native now has four points (1g, 3a) in 15 games with the Thunder. It was also his first goal in a Thunder uniform.

TWO-FOR-TWO - Joey Sides and Michael Neal had two points apiece this past weekend. Neal scored the only goal for Wichita on Saturday night and added an assist on Sunday. Sides has assists in back-to-back games.

ALLEN NOTES - Chad Costello leads the league in assists with 28 and is tied for first in power play helpers (12).....Eric Roy is tied for eighth in rookie scoring with 21 points (8g, 13a) and tied for fifth in game winning goals (3)...Joel Rumpel is tied for second in wins with 11, sixth in saves (468) and ninth in minutes played (1,008)...Riley Gill is tied for second with two shutouts...

AROUND THE ECHL - There are four other games tonight in the ECHL. Norfolk goes to Atlanta. Evansville plays at Quad City. Elmira travels to Toledo. Colorado is in Idaho.
